Candide's Lizards are a bunch of pet monitor lizards, snakes, salamanders, and other cold-blooded reptiles owned by Candide Sampson. She has them roam the glass ceiling of her office. Her favorite lizard of them all is a large green monitor lizard she usually carries on her shoulders. This lizard, in particular communicates through lizard noises that are translated with subtitles.
Biography[]
In "Let's Try This Again", Candide Sampson introduced herself to Principal Scudworth as his new superior, who would be watching over him from her office with a glass ceiling on it. She had all of her reptiles crawl around on the glass ceiling and the incessant tapping noises of them walking around drove Principal Scudworth crazy.
In "Sleepover", the monitor lizard lived in Cleo's House and ate a doggy bag from The Grassy Knoll.
In "Anxious Times at Clone High", Principal Scudworth sent his pet bunny rabbit, Biscuit up to Candide's office to be eaten by the snakes but the rabbit ended up killing all of the snakes and lizards, bringing Candide to tears.
In "Some Talking but Mostly Songs", the monitor lizard sat on Candide's shoulders as she watched Scudworth and Topher perform in the halls. The lizard called out the nauseating irony of this situation. This also proves that the main monitor lizard must not have been present when Biscuit killed all the other reptiles.
