In "Cyranos: A Portmant-Opus", George Washington Carver's foster mother had a meeting with Principal Scudworth, where Scudworth was trying to get her money by telling her that he would rename the school science lab to "The George Washington Carver Science Center" if she gave him a sizeable donation for Cloney Island. George Washington Carver's Foster Mom actually said that she was in between jobs and was looking to apply for financial aid. Scudworth kicked her right out of the office for that.
