- Glen

Glen the Janitor is Ponce's foster father, who works as the janitor of Clone High High School. He appeared in "Litter Kills: Litterally". He is voiced by Neil Flynn.

Biography[]

In "Litter Kills: Litterally", Glen was happily cleaning up the garbage, left behind by the careless and intentionally polluting students of Clone High High School, simply laughing it off, as though this is a normal thing that kids do.

When Poncie died, Glen gave his eulogy at his funeral, but was interrupted by Principal Scudworth, telling him to clean up a kid's vomit in another room. Glen asked if he could at least finish his son's eulogy, but Scudworth argued that vomit needs to be cleaned as quickly as possible before it sets in and reminds him that his son will still be dead when he gets back.

After Ponce's death, the students eulogized him by cleaning up all the litter in the school zone. Because of this, Principal Scudworth lays off Glen, despite his pleads that the janitorial job is all he has left.

In "Some Talking but Mostly Songs", it is revealed that Glen has been recruited back as a janitor at Clone High. He wheels in his equipment while whistling, but upon discovering the damage and destruction in the hallways that ensued from the episode's opening song, he backs away.

He makes a cameo in "Sexy-Ed" as a photo on Topher Bus' phone with the intention of possibly blackmailing him. He is depicted in the phone as kissing another custodian, the lunch lady.

In "Clone Alone", he signs Joan of Arc's yearbook and says that Joan of Arc is a lone wolf just like him, in which he also writes the quote on her yearbook.

Appearance[]

Glen the Janitor is an adult Caucasian male with neatly combed, dark brunette hair. He wears a gray buttoned shirt, slightly darker gray pants, a black belt, and black shoes.

Personality[]

Glen seems like a nice, cheerful, and overall good guy. However, throughout "Litter Kills: Litterally", he keeps getting screwed over by Principal Scudworth, and gets getting put through Hell, tearing him apart and making him more depressed with every event. Glen, being as non-vengeful as he is, allowed people to treat him this way, without retaliating in any way.

Trivia[]

  • He is voiced by Neil Flynn, the same actor who played "Glen Matthews", another janitor character with the same first name, from the NBC hospital comedy-drama Scrubs. Scrubs was created by Bill Lawrence, one of the co-creators of Clone High, and according to Lawrence the two are meant to be the same character. However the version who appears in Clone High is an overly happy, virtually unbreakable man with unbridled respect for others, compared to the Scrubs janitor who is condescending, rude, and easy to anger.
