Go Yell It on the Mountain: Snow Way Out is the sixth episode of Season 3 of Clone High, and the 29th episode of the overall series.

Synopsis[]

Tensions mount on a ski trip to Avalanche Mountain, threatening love triangles, bromances... and Mr. B's sanity.

Plot[]

It's Ski Week at Clone High High School, and the clones are taking a field trip to Avalanche Point. Abe Lincoln tongue-kisses Mary goodbye, since the latter can't go on the field trip with him, due to her allergy to bus seat vynil. JFK plans to lose his virginity on the field trip again, still considering himself to be a "born-again virgin". Confucius keeps putting off telling Harriet that he's dumping her for Joan of Arc, worried about how pissed off she's gunna get. After the students board the bus, Principal Scudworth and Mr. Butlertron plan on taking this time to have a faculty staycation, until Candide comes up and tells them that one of them has to chaperone the field trip. Scudworth throws Mr. Butlertron into the luggage storage for the bus ride, forcing him to chaperone. However, Scudworth ends up getting the short end of the stick, as Candide tells him that people who stay behind have to work on installing security cameras in the clones' lockers.

Confucius sneaks out of a conversation with Harriet to tongue-kiss Joan in the bathroom. Joan is disappointed to hear that Confucius still hasn't told Harriet the news yet and Confucius admits that he's not strong enough to do it on his own, requiring Joan's help. JFK finds himself high and dry on the bus, as all of the girls are already hooking up with someone else.

While Mr. Butlertron is trapped in the luggage cart, his claustrophobia get triggered and he starts to spiral into madness, giving him an evil alternate personality. After the ride finally ends, Mr. Butlertron finally breaks out but he's still spazzing out and switching over from his normal personality to his evil personality. Mr. Butlertron tries to repress this and goes to make lasagna for the clones.

Mr. Butlertron and the clones make it back to the Ski Lodge and Cleo and Frida have a disagreement over what to do on their ski trip. Frida also got matching Fleece Jackets for herself and Cleo. However, Cleo hates it because it just doesn't look fashionable on her at all.

Abe texts with Mary and she sends him a booby pic. JFK tells Abe that the proper way to respond to a titty pic is with a dick pic. Abe is worried about sending a dick pic because he's afraid of what Mary will think of his dick. JFK, worried about how he's losing his mojo with all the ladies, steals Abe's phone and sends Mary his own dick pic, which Mary dislikes. Abe freaks out and worries that his relationship with Mary is over now because of how poorly-received his dick pic was.

When Harriet gets back to the cabin after skiing, Joan and Confucius finally confess to her that they're dating now and have been for a while. Harriet is so mad about this that she screams at the top of her lungs and causes an avalanche to trap everybody inside the ski lodge. Mr. Butlertron comes out with some lasagna he made for everyone and once he hears that he's trapped in the cabin, he freaks out and goes onto a murderous rampage, chasing everybody around with a meat cleaver.

While everyone hides out from Mr. Butlertron, Harriet continues to berate Joan and Confucius for betraying her until Cleo finally calls her out on her behavior. Cleo points out that Harriet had already broken up with Confucius on Valentine's Day and Joan was well within her right to start going out with him. JFK complains about how girls keep on rejecting him but Harriet points out that he was always being rejected by girls even before converting to Christianity. Joan adds that the only difference was that before, he was better at dealing with rejection. This helps JFK reach an epiphany of self-acceptance and he tells Joan and Harriet that they work together very well as a team. Joan and Harriet realize that JFK is right and they should just put this argument behind them and become friends again.

Just then, a gap in the snow opens up above the chimney, which gives everyone a chance to escape. Mr. Butlertron sees this and his evil alternate persona goes away, as he turns back into his normal, non-murderous self. When Mr. Butlertron returns to his normal self, he was no recollection of what he did while he was evil. However, Joan and Harriet are unaware that he was redeemed, so they proceed to beat him senseless with skis. The helicopters come by and help everyone escape from the cabin. After being saved, Cleo apologizes to Frida for dissing her jackets and decides to wear it anyway, albeit as a scarf.

When the clones all return to school, Joan and Harriet hug things out and continue to be friends, understanding that sometimes they're gunna fight and that's just a normal part of friendship. Abe reunites with Mary and apologizes for the dick pic he sent her. Mary tells Abe that the only reason she dislikes the dick pic is because she knew it was JFK's and she really just wanted his. She also brings to JFK's attention that he send out a lot of dick pics over the years, to the point where there's an entire website that's all just his dick pics. Mr. Butlertron comes back to Scudworth again, fuming with rage over how he treated him. Principal Scudworth tries to play things off like he simply just let Mr. Butlertron chaperone the field trip, trying to avoid taking any real responsibility. Mr. Butlertron gets so mad that he chases Scudworth around with a meat cleaver, while he's still his normal self.

Historical References[]

  • JFK asks Amerigo Vespucci to calculate the elevation up on Avalanche Point. Amerigo was an explorer who drew maps of the lands he conquered and as such, he would generally calculate stuff like mountain elevation to make his maps more accurate.
  • Pythagoras calculates that 7,300 feet is equivalent to roughly 1.3 miles. Pythagoras was a mathematician who invented the Pythagorean Theorem, a method of calculating the height of an angle based on other information.
    • However, he didn't apply the Pythagorean theorem to this. He just estimated how many miles high the mountain was, by converting 7,300 feet into miles.

Production Notes[]

  • Although this episode premiered on February 1, 2024, it was actually produced in 2023 according to the credits, as with every other episode of season 3.
