Trivia[]
- Jack Black was initially slated to voice act for a self-insert but suggested he have the character changed to a fictional celebrity instead, (this would eventually become Larry Hardcore). According to Phil Lord and Chris Miller, this was because his character mentioned being addicted to marijuana when he was younger and he didn't want people to think this was actually true for the real Jack Black.
