Let's Try This Again is the first episode of the reboot of Clone High. It is the first episode of Season 2 and the fourteenth episode of the overall series.
Synopsis[]
After 20 years of being frozen, the clones are finally thawed for the Secret Board of Shadowy Figures' newest plan: Operation Spread Eagle. Abe grapples with the concept of cancel culture.
Plot[]
In the year 2023, exactly 20 years after the previous episode's conclusion, Candide Sampson enters a government facility, where she meets with The Secret Board of Shadowy Figures. The board brings to her a folder file on Principal Scudworth, Clone High High School, and the various clones who attend the school, as they detail to her how he cloned the corpses of historical figures into living people and currently serves as their high school principal, as part of their government conspiracy. Their initial plan was to groom these historical figures to one day become an army of powerful world leaders, otherwise the world leaders they have now would just keep getting worse. Unfortunately for them, the plan was forcibly put on ice, quite literally, when all the clones were frozen in the school's flash freezer on winter prom night for 20 years.
Currently, their plan is to unfreeze the clones, send them back to high school, and continue about their original mission to turn them back into world leaders again. Candide vows to do her job and swears she won't let them down. The shadowy figures also add that there will be some added drama that comes with the clones' defrosting, recapping how Abe Lincoln was about to confess his love for either Joan of Arc or Cleopatra before being frozen. The shadowy figures all squabble among themselves over who they think Abe should be with, all being very invested in the stories of these clones.
Down at the flash freezer, Principal Scudworth finally defrosts all of the clones once again, using a hairdryer. Abe Lincoln gets defrosted and calls out the name, "Joan!", finally ending the 20-year-cliffhanger, even though it was obvious who he was going to say right from the very start.
The next day at school, the clones all return to their daily loves, completely unaware that 20 years have passed. Abe watches as Joan walks to school and talks to Gandhi about how he's going to finally profess his true feelings toward her, only to find out that this "Gandhi" he's talking to is actually just a roasted turkey sitting on a fire hydrant. Abe goes up to Joan as she notices how there's a whole bunch of new students at the school she doesn't recognize as well as some futuristic technology they're all using, such as hoverboards, e-scooters, and drones. Abe ignores all of this and gets ready to finally tell her he loves her, only to be interrupted by JFK, who raves about how much fun he had with Joan at last night's winter prom. JFK asks Joan if she wants to be his girlfriend, which really throws her off, on account of how as an unpopular girl, she's never been asked out by a popular guy. She tells him that she'll think about it just before JFK runs off, chasing a drone. Seeing as how he lost his chance to be with Joan, Abe fights back tears as he pretends to be happy for the two of them.
After a long night of unfreezing clones, Principal Scudworth relaxes in his office and prepares to drink a scolding, skin-searingly hot cup of coffee. Just then, Candide kicks the door in and startles him into spilling it all over himself and burning himself raw. As Scudworth flounces about the room, screeching in agony, a stone-faced Candide introduces herself in a deadpan tone and immediately asserts dominance over him as his new superior. Scudworth voices absolute opposition to having anyone rule over him but the decision has been made as Candide instantly installs her own office above his, separated by a glass ceiling, which she'll use to oversee him through at all times, monitoring his every move. Candide also notes how she's seeing a lot of clones in the halls who weren't anywhere on the original class list and Scudworth explains that in 2007, Scudworth created a whole new set of clones and has been secretly keeping Clone High going, without permission from anybody. Candide's rancor over this is cut short almost instantly, as she considers how having extra clones is actually more of a benefit than a burden. When asked how the original clones took it, upon learning they were now living 20 years in the future, Scudworth is reminded that there was one thing he forgot to do.
Scudworth calls all of the first generation clones into the auditorium for a special announcement, where he casually drops on them how they've all been frozen for 20 years and that the students they don't recognize were cloned in 2007, making them all roughly the same age as them, biologically. This, of course, comes as a complete shock to everyone. Cleopatra is mainly concerned with the fact that chronologically, this makes her 36. To catch them all up on what's been going on in culture for the past 20 years, Scudworth sings them all a reeducation song to the tune of "We Didn't Start the Fire", which takes him 6 hours.
The new series is set exactly 20 years after the previous season's conclusion. However, the clones mistakenly believe that only a day has passed. The clones, having been cryogenically frozen all this time, remain the same age and have outdated mindsets. As a result of the sudden time jump, they are experiencing culture shock, struggling to comprehend the advancements in technology and social changes that have occurred over the past two decades. Additionally, Scudworth has two of the second generation clones, Frida Kahlo and Harriet Tubman, come up on stage and announce how they'll be helping the first generation clones integrate into the school with a Unity Week celebration, wherein several social events will be held, to help the two generations of clones get to know each other. Abe is very excited to be living in the future, thinking things will be very fun. In contrast, Joan dreads every minute of it, feeling that she'll be even more of a social pariah, since she's now 20 years behind on everything.
Principal Scudworth gripes and bitches to Mr. Butlertron about how Candide is now looming over him, along with tons of her pet monitor lizards, who are crawling all over the glass ceiling. Candide asks for the key to the executive bathroom, which Scudworth is especially pissed off about, since the bathroom is his one true place of solitude and privacy, indicated by the pubes he left on the toilet seat, although he insists that they're actually mustache trimmings.
The first event of unity week is the "Walk a Mile in Someone Else's Shoes" event, hosted by Confucius and Sacagawea. As they explain, this event is all about G1 clones trading shoes with G2 clones and walking a lap around the field, having a conversation with them to really get to know each other better. Abe switches shoes with Topher Bus and during their conversation, uses a bunch of problematic language like "spaz". Topher corrects his dialogue and tells him that he needs to be more woke. Meanwhile, Joan switches shoes with Harriet Tubman and they both get along really quickly, when she learns that Harriet also makes multi-media performance art.
Topher pulls Abe aside and teaches him about cancel culture. He explains to Abe that he's actually a clone of Christopher Columbus, who was cancelled for being a racist colonist, who raped Native American women and brought African slaves to America. Topher has changed his name in an attempt to distance himself from his clonefather and has also taken on a "white liberal" attitude and encourages Abe to do the same. Abe assures Topher that he'll be just fine and that it's actually JFK he needs to worry about, since he's the one who keeps making misogynistic comments about women. However, JFK is actually being regarded as extremely woke on account of how he comments on how he likes boobies and butts of all shapes, colors, and sizes, which the G2 clones to be very sex positive.
Harriet and Frida tell Joan and Cleo about their Inclusivity Committee and invite Joan to become a member of the exclusive group, completely snubbing Cleo. Cleo is so mad and pissed off about now being less popular than Joan and less hot than Frida, that she physically injures herself to a bloody pulp. They also invite JFK to join, snubbing Abe. Joan feels bad for Abe, so she convinces Harriet and Frida to let him join so that he can plan the committee's upcoming Unity Luncheon. Harriet and Frida are hesitant at first, given how Topher ha started spreading rumors about Abe being a "mansplainer" but ultimately agree to give him a shot as the luncheon planner.
Principal Scudworth goes into the private washroom, only to witness the entire bathroom has been remodeled. Now that Candide has access to the place, she gave it a woman's touch, using elegant towels, a soap dispenser, lemon-scented feminine hygienics, and cleaning all the pubes off the toilet seat. Fed up with her intrusions, Principal Scudworth uses his Sombrero of Invisibilidad, a wide-rimmed hat that completely obscures him from Candide's birds-eye vision. He opens his secret safe and retrieves a stick of dynamite, which he plans to use to blow up her head with.
At lunch, Joan gets to sit in the VIP seats with the Inclusivity Committee, which is the first time she's ever gotten to sit with the popular kids before. Abe comes in and tells the committee how he made plans for the luncheon, which is basically just sitting up chairs at the tables and having food being eaten off those tables. Unfortunately, Abe uses the offensive term "Indian style", which offends everybody in the committee. Not understanding why people are put off by his comments, Abe apologizes if he said anything "gay", which only triggers people more. Abe tries to weasel his way out of the situation by explaining how in his book, "being gay" is the worst thing anybody could do, giving him complete reprimand from the entire room. Joan nervously tells Abe that he should really try and think of those luncheon plans somewhere else, far, far away from her and her friends before he screws things up even worse. Abe takes the hint and sadly walks away.
Abe goes down to the old thinking docks, where he notices that over the years, all the water has been drained from the lakes, due to climate change. Confucius sits at the thinking docks too, saying how he usually goes down there to try and be a better thinker, his like clonefather. Abe explains his current situation and how he usually checks in with Gandhi at times like this but unfortunately, can't seem to find him anywhere. Abe assumes that Gandhi has been avoiding him but it's revealed that Gandhi is still frozen in the flash freezer. Confucius tells Abe that his best advice to him would be to apologize publicly on this wonderful new online social media platform called FlipFlop.
Abe creates an account on FlipFlop in an attempt to make amends but unintentionally exacerbates the situation by using benign phrases that are considered racist today, such as "I don't see color" and “All lives matter." This is received with backlash from the internet comments, which pressures Abe into making follow-up apologies, which only fuels the fire of the internet trolls. Eventually, Abe gets pissed off at woke culture and starts ranting about them, making tons of intentionally offensive comments, just to express his distaste for the state of the world today. He soon goes viral and makes himself into a complete outcast.
When The Inclusivity Committee hears about this, they officially label him as problematic and publicly cancel him, by having Nathaniel Hawthorne come up and paint a red "C" on his belly. Abe begs Joan to stand up for him. Joan is afraid to get herself in trouble with her new friends so she shies away from saying anything, although deep down, she is visibly upset with how she has to betray her friend like this. Abe is then exiled to the Canceled Corner with the other cancelled figures, John Wayne, Marilyn Manson, and Mr. Sheepman. Joan goes up to him and tries to console him but Abe is just mad at her for how she took no action in supporting him. Joan argues that she had actually done a lot to support him and that he actually just screwed himself over. Abe is disappointed with who Joan has become, believing that now that she's eating with the popular kids they used to make fun of, dating the obnoxious misogynist JFK she once despised, and acting like a completely different person who was basically unrecognizable in comparison to who she once was, she's changed into the very person she used to hate. Joan justifies this as being a completely different situation on account of the popular kids now being nice people who actually like her and she insists that she tried her damnedest to include Abe too but he ruined it for himself and now it's completely up to her to plan the unity luncheon. Abe tells Joan that he'll be making his own luncheon called The Luncheon for Unity, which he intends to be so much better than her luncheon.
Principal Scudworth takes his dynamite stick to the bathroom in disguise as a candle, which he intends to trick Candide into blowing herself up with. However, when he gets there, he realizes that there's already a stick of dynamite disguised as a candle, among several other deadly booby traps, such as razor blades in the shell soap, a harpoon in the toilet, and an exploding pearl necklace he's wearing, all of which have supposedly been set up by Candide, as she was the only other person with access to the bathroom. When Scudworth finds out that Candide is trying to kill him, he falls swiftly smitten, viewing Candide as a worthy adversary in their little war they've got going on.
As Joan sets up her own Unity Luncheon, Abe starts up his Luncheon of Unity right next to hers, which has a lot more fanfare, complete with loud music, a tiki theme, and 100,000 hot wings. Although Joan's unity luncheon still pulls in a significant number of attendees, Abe's lunceon reels in a lot more, including Ivan the Terrible, who behaves like a flaming incel, who claims that he hates all women for not having sex with him. Abe is reasonably put off by Ivan's hateful behavior and although he doesn't share his sentiment, he recognizes that his beliefs are an exaggerated version of what he currently stands for and worries that he might be going down the same slippery slope.
George Washington Carver is jealous that Abe gets his own unity luncheon and demands to have his own unity luncheon and several other clones follow suit. Not wanting to offend anyone, Sacagawea feels obligated to meet their demands and gives every single individual person a unity luncheon to appeal their personal sensibilities. George Washington Carver has a luncheon for "People Who Love Nuts", Geronimo has one for "People Who Are Allergic to Nuts", Sacagawea has a "Ppl 4 Abrevi8ng Evrythng Uni-T Lnchn", Wu Zetian holds a "No Farting Unity Luncheon", Julius Caesar holds a "Lotsa Farts Unity Luncheon", which is cluttered with his fart clouds, and Jesús Cristo holds a "Fans of Oscillating Fans Unity Luncheon" and turns on all his oscillating fans, which blow all of Julius Caesar's farts over to the "No Farting Unity Luncheon", making Wu hack and gag in disgust. With every single person having their own luncheons, attendance for Abe and Joan's luncheons both drop down to absolute zero, since everyone has distanced themselves into their own personal luncheons, completely contradicting the week's original idea of unity.
Witnessing the disaster unfold, Harriet and Frida throw a fit and declare Unity Week to be ruined and blame Joan for everything. Frida excludes Joan from the inclusivity committee, and JFK cries over his girlfriend leaving as she sadly walks away. Joan realizes that she's just lost both all of her old and new friends and walks away sadly, believing that high school will be the same for her after all. Abe feels bad for her, when he sees her drearily trudging off and tells the drug-store tiki torch that he thinks he screwed up.
Abe goes down to the thinking docks again and writes down in his notebook some ideas on how to make things right with Joan, while eating hot wings. He keeps giving himself paper cuts on the notebook paper and the sauce from the hot wings drip into his scars, making him suffer even more with pain. Eventually, this gives Abe an idea on how to get people to forgive him.
Abe goes up to all the unity luncheons and announces publicly that he made a huge mistake by ruining his friendship with Joan, who he announces has been unjustly excluded from the popular kids group and it's all thanks to him. Abe proclaims that he deserves punishment and invites everyone in the school to get in line and take turns pouring hot wing sauce into his open paper cut wounds. Everyone leaves their secluded luncheons and finally unite over their shared hatred for Abe Lincoln and they all pour hot sauce into Abe's paper cuts, much to Joan's delight. Harriet and Frida come up to Joan and invite her to a very boring black and white film festival, showing that they have forgiven her too.
Abe later walks up to Joan and apologizes, asking if she still wants to be friends with him. Joan hugs him as she accepts his proposal to remain the best of friends. Abe starts to ask if she'd ever consider being more than friends but Joan doesn't hear him and cuts him off mid-sentence to call out to JFK. Joan runs off to talk to JFK and tell him that she has finally made up her mind about his earlier proposal and has agreed to be his girlfriend. Abe sadly watches as Joan and JFK tongue-kiss and wipes away his tear with his hot sauce-drenched finger, stinging his eye once again and making him yell out "Ah, dinger!".

Trivia[]
- The title is a reference to the fact that this episode kicks off the series, after its original cancellation.
- As of this episode, the series now takes place in 2023, (20 years after the last one season ended), although the clones all think that it's only one day later. Having been cryogenically frozen all this time, the clones maintain exactly the same age and mindset. Due to the sudden timeshift, everyone is experiencing culture shock, not understanding all of the new technology and social changes of the past 20 years.
- While all the clones were frozen, Principal Scudworth has secretly been keeping Clone High High School running by making more clones of other historical figures without getting permission from The Secret Board of Shadowy Figures. He made the second generation of clones in 2007, making them all roughly 16 years old, matching up with the biological ages of the defrosted clones.
- Abe Lincoln is now madly in love with Joan of Arc and begins his quest to pursue her as his girlfriend. JFK is also in love with Joan now and wants to have more sex with her. Unfortunately for both of them, it seems that Joan has since moved on from him and is now deciding to take things more slowly romance-wise before jumping into her next relationship.
- Mr. Butlertron directly breaks the fourth wall asking "Why would anyone do anything a second time after they got burned so badly the first time?", referencing to how Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are rebooting Clone High after getting in so much trouble from offending Hindus with the original run.
- Candide Sampson is assigned to be the new boss of Principal Scudworth, who'll be monitoring him from a newly-installed room above his office in Clone High High School.
- Frida Kahlo and Harriet Tubman are included among the second generation of clones despite having originally been members of the first generation. The second-generation clones of these characters are also completely redesigned.
- When archival footage of the season one finale is shown to the shadowy figures, Harriet Tubman's former clone still appears behind Abe.
- Frida Kahlo is now the hottest girl in school, dethroning Cleopatra.
- She is also the new class president.
- List of G1/G2 clones who switched shoes;
- Abe Lincoln/Topher Bus
- Joan of Arc/Harriet Tubman
- Cleopatra/Attila the Hun
- JFK/Sacagawea
- George Washington Carver/Wu Zetian
- Catherine the Great/Geronimo
- Jesús Cristo/???
- Apparently, Marie Curie, Van Gogh, Isaac Newton, and The Brontë Sisters didn't switch shoes with anybody.
- Confucius was seen wearing George Washington Carver's shoes, despite the latter previously being shown switching shoes with Wu Zetian.
- Julius Caesar was shown wearing big pink boots but it's unknown who these shoes initially belonged to.
- The water down by the Thinking Docks has completely drained, thanks to global warming.
- List of FlipFlop accounts;
- Abe's FlipFlop account is "InACentAbe_1776", which is a pun on "Innocent Abe" and a reference to the fact that Abraham Lincoln's picture is "in" the penny, which is worth "a cent". The significance of "1776" is that this was the year America was officially founded.
- The FlipFlop account "TopHer69" is the account of Topher Bus, as confirmed in Sleepover, and "69" is a sexual reference.
- Confucius' account is "ConfusciousSayzz421". The "421" is a drug reference, being one number higher than 420. He comments "Our glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.", an actual quote from his clonefather.
- "LizzieStanton" is the account of Elizabeth Cady Stanton. The "1815" is her clonemother's birthday.
- "EarhartThisParty_37" is the account of Amelia Earhart. "37" refers to the year 1937, when she went on an airplane flight over the Pacific Ocean in an attempt to be the first woman to circumnavigate the globe and mysteriously went missing.
- "xX_KernelKustard_Xx" is the account of George Custer. He comments "Take it from someone who knows. You gotta know when to quit." This is a reference to Custer's Last Stand, when he infamously died, trying to fight off the Sioux at Little BigHorn, which was too much for him to handle.
- "FeetDavidson6969" is apparently the account of Pete Davidson.
- Julius Caesar loves farting.
- Jesús Cristo is a fan of oscillating fans.
- Joan and JFK officially become boyfriend and girlfriend.
- Starting with this episode, Cleopatra, who was originally voiced by Christa Miller, is now voiced by Iranian-American actress, Mitra Jouhari. Miller however would then voice a new character, Candide Sampson.
- On January 28th, 2023, a work-in-progress version of the episode leaked online through a Spectrum survey. It features no opening titles or credits and occasional temporary dialogue on certain characters.
- In the finished version of the episode, a hidden background joke was added in, to make a fourth wall reference to the episode, itself being leaked. In the shot of Candide walking through the government facility at the start of the episode, one of the screens read "DATA BREACH - JANUARY 28th", followed by the word "LEAK" printed several times.
- All of the live-action photos in the slideshows are watermarked stock images from GettyImages in the leaked version.
Continuity[]
- This episode continues the events of "Changes: The Big Prom: The Sex Romp: The Season Finale", with Principal Scudworth defrosting all of the clones (sans Gandhi) with a hairdryer.
- Abe finally finishes the sentence he was saying back in 2003, announcing that the woman he loves is Joan.
- If one were to combine his line from 2003 with the end of his sentence from 2023, he apparently said "But Joan, I love Joan." This is likely a mistake, as Abe likely wouldn't refer to Joan in the third person while talking to her.
- One of the scientists in the government facility is seen wheeling a barrel labeled "2 Scoops Raisins", making a callback to "Raisin the Stakes: A Rock Opera in Three Acts".
- E Cybo-Pooch's business card from "A Room of One's Clone: The Pie of the Storm" is seen in Principal Scudworth's file. Along with it, is a sticky note with an arrow pointing to it and reading "Use again? Possible upgrade." hinting at the possibility of Cybo-Pooch making a return.
- One of the sticky notes in Scudworth's file brings up his blood-feud with John Stamos, first established in "Makeover Makeover Makeover: the Makeover Episode".
- The file for Operation Spread Eagle contains some extra flavor text that mostly goes unseen, though they can be read when Candide is flipping through the pages.
- Scudworth's first page reads;
After Ivy League University pulled his grant money for myriad misappropriation and ethics violations surrounding his work on what he called "the biggest thing that dumb idiots couldn't understand even though the concept is pretty simple", Scudworth moved to the private sector where he disregarded every rule in the book to achieve his dream of human cloning. His desire to replicate historical figures stems from his childhood growing up with grifter parents. He's known to shower with his gloves on and is believed to have permanently pruned fingers and disgusting fingernails.- In the file photo of Scudworth, he has his hairstyle from Season 1, although the outline for his poliosis is visible.
- The page that gives a "List of current clones" lists Ponce de León among them, despite the fact he was killed off in his debut episode.
- In the file photo of the clones, there's a sticky note that says "Missing anyone special?", referring to the absence of Gandhi.
- The page that talks about the high school reads;
Clone High is a covert and elaborate research institute designed to appear as an ordinary high school, but secretly house an extraordinary student body -- and we're not talking about Cleopatra! What? Files can't be fun? Says who? Show me where it says that ANYWHERE.
Anyway, it serves as the base of oper- operations and training site for clones history's greatest inhabitants who will one daybe fit to carry out plans of world domination.
- Scudworth's first page reads;
- Gandhi is confirmed to still be frozen in this episode, due to his depiction in the original run offending a bunch of Hindus, leading to the show's initial cancellation.
- Abe is shown to be unaware of this, as he mistakes a roast turkey on a fire hydrant for him, on top of mentioning to Confucius that he believes Gandhi is avoiding him.
- Due to Frida Kahlo being the new class president, it can be implied that President Dog is no longer serving.
- Marilyn Manson from "Episode Two: Election Blu-Galoo" shows up in the "Cancelled Corner".
Historical References[]
- Although it's very unlikely she's a clone, Candide Sampson is possible a reference to Elizabeth Cady Stanton. The lizards she's always with is probably a reference to the original Elizabeth Cady Stanton's first name containing the word "Liz".
- Topher Bus brings up how the original; Christopher Columbus got cancelled for being a "dirtbag", referencing to how in recent years, cancel culture has re-contextualized Columbus as a villain for his colonization, Native American genocide, raping of young women, and involvement with the Trans-Atlantic slave trade.
- George Custer sends Abe a message on FlipFlop, telling him that he's someone who knows when to back down, referencing to how his clonefather didn't know when to stop during The Battle of Little Bighorn and got scalped by the Sioux Indian tribe.
- After seeing how embarrassing Abe's FlipFlop video is, JFK says "This guy's tragic. Are you sure he's not a Kennedy?", referencing the the tragic deaths of various Kennedy family members.
Cultural References[]
- There are several hidden references on the screens of the government lab:
- One screen alerts that there was a data breach in January 28th, referencing to how an unfinished version of this episode was leaked to the public on January 28th, 2023.
- There are several clocks showing what time it is on different planets and space masses, including Earth, Mars, Moon, Pluto, and M82 X-1. M82 X-1 is apparently a black hole located in a distant galaxy in the Ursa Major constellation.
- One of the screens displays an image of a disease-type virus, specifically labeled "Comicron Variant"; This is a clear reference to the Corona's Omnicron variant, and may hint to The Secret Board of Shadowy Figures having created said virus.
- The Shadowy Figures show live photos of various world leaders and billionaires, these being Kim Jong-Un, Vladimir Putin, Jair Bolsonaro, Mark Cuban, and Jared Leto.
- Principal Scudworth's grocery list includes "Soda, OJ, Purple Stuff, and Sunny D", which is a reference to the Sunny D commercials, wherein thirsty kids would always look through the fridge and push aside soda, OJ, and purple stuff, before finally settling on Sunny D for a drink.
- Candide Sampson installs a "glass ceiling" a literal representation of a metaphor, commonly used by the feminist community, referencing to a burden that's blocking women from reaching the same level of success in business as men.
- Principal Scudworth explicitly mentions how he's forcing the clones to watch a recap of the past 20 years, "Clockwork Orange" style. He performs the "Ludovico Technique" on the students by locking them to their chairs and prying their eyes open.
- Principal Scudworth's song which recaps the past 20 years of history, parodies the 1989 song, "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel, which, itself, recapped the past 40 years of history.
- "Topher Bus" is the nickname used by the clone of Christopher Colmbus, not wanting to associate with his clonefather, for notoriously colonizing North America, causing the mass genocide of the Native Americans, destroying their culture, stealing their land, raping their women, and even bringing African slaves to the newly established country as well back in 1492. All things that are severely frowned upon in modern society in retrospect and have caused the vilification of Columbus in the real world, causing many monuments dedicated to him around the world to be taken down.
- Principal Scudworth scats the tune of the song "Buddy Holly", by the band, Weezer.
- Abe Lincoln creates a account on a TikTok parody called "FlipFlop", to make a public apology video.
- Abe getting a red "C" painted on his belly to signify his cancellation is a reference to The Scarlet Letter.
- Abe gets in trouble for saying "All Lives Matter", since this phrase as seen as a way of undercutting the social issues that Black Lives Matter stands for by making people switch focus to the issues of those who aren't suffering as much as the African-American community. This is especially ironic when it was Abraham Lincoln who issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which declared the end of slavery in the United States.
- Abe once went as "Chris Tucker" for Halloween.
- Quasimodo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame shows up in the bell tower.
- One of the people in the Cancelled Corner was John Wayne.
- Mr. Sheepman's presence in the Cancelled Corner is a reference to his voice actor, Andy Dick, having been cancelled during the show's cancellation, on account of his numerous sexual harassment allegations.
