The Crown: Joancoming: It's a Cleo, Cleo, Cleo, Cleo World is the fourth episode of Season Two of Clone High, and the seventeenth episode of the overall series.
Synopsis[]
When a rumor derails Cleo’s bid for homecoming queen, Joan is forced to reconsider their lifelong rivalry for the sake of the school… and the world.
Plot[]
Joan starts a rumor about Cleo in order to turn the entire school against her. However, their long-standing rivalry might reach its climax when a crown infused with a magical gem possesses the ability to control anyone and manipulate reality as it wishes.
Joan spreads a false rumor claiming that Cleo's pumpkin spice lattes are produced from "blood pumpkins" cultivated through child labor. Joan confesses to making up the rumor.
Principal Scudworth and Candide conspire to exploit the power of the Homecoming crown, regardless of who is crowned Homecoming Queen. However, both Scudworth and Candide end up falling under Cleo's control.
Those enslaved by Cleo get pink rings around their pupils. Confucius points out that Joan's actions haven't been much different from Cleo's, despite Joan positioning herself as the hero.
Eventually, Joan listens to what Confucius is saying and admits her own role in their feud throughout the years. She apologizes and also tries to free everyone from Cleo’s control.
