Wesley is the clone of Mr. Butlertron's brother Wesley Nestle, who was created as a promise made between Principal Scudworth and Mr. B. He first appeared in For Your Consideration.
Biography[]
In "For Your Consideration", the flashbacks revealed that Mr. Butlertron joined Principal Scudworth in his Cloney Island scheme if he promised to clone his deceased brother Wesley. Mr. Butletron presented Scudworth with some of Wesley's hair to use as DNA but for over 40 years, Scudworth kept putting off making the clone of Wesley. Despite his slowness to follow through with his end of the bargain, Mr. Butlertron remained extremely patient, up until 2023.
In 2023, Mr. Butlertron decided to let his battery run out at Jumper's Cliff but is saved by Scudworth, who shows Mr. B that he cloned Wesley. Scudworth explains to Mr. B that the reason he couldn't keep his promise was because he constantly confused his own hair clumps with that of Wesley's and kept cloning himself. Mr. Butletron, overjoyed at the news, accidentally pushed Scudworth and the Wesley clone over the cliffs and was faced with a choice of saving only one of them. Ultimately, Mr. Butlertron chose to save Scudworth and the Wesley clone fell to the sea just like the original Wesley did, although it remains ambiguous if he really died.
