Wu Zetian is a second generation student at Clone High High School and the genetic clone of Chinese consort of the Tang Dynasty and brief empress of the Wu Zhou dynasty, Wu Zetian. So far, she has only appeared as a background character in various Season 2 episodes, starting with "Let's Try This Again".
Biography[]
In "Let's Try This Again", Wu Zetian made her debut as a second generation student at Clone High High School. During Unity Week, she switched shoes with first generation clone, George Washington Carver for the "Walk a Mile in Someone Else's Shoes" event. She walked backwards during the event, while listening to Harriet Tubman and Joan of Arc talking about their shared interests. During the Unity Luncheon, Wu had her own luncheon, where there was strictly no farting allowed. Next to her luncheon, Julius Caesar had a luncheon for lots of farting. Next to his luncheon, Jesús Cristo was holding a luncheon for a bunch of oscillating fans, which all blew the fart clouds out of Julius' luncheon and into Wu's luncheon, causing her to hack and gag in disgust.
In "Sleepover", she was standing outside with Sacagawea, supposedly gossiping about how Joan fell asleep in math class and had a wet dream. Joan came up and denied these rumors, which they believed.
In "Anxious Times at Clone High", Wu was studying for Pre-Midterms with Genghis Khan, which was making her anxious. She later attended the anti-stress seminar, which only made her more stressed, enough to make her sweat, while reading in the hallways.
In "The Crown: Joancoming: It’s a Cleo, Cleo, Cleo, Cleo World", Wu bunny-hopped to the Instructional Boogie, next to JFK. walked through the halls, drinking pumpkin spice lattes, along with Touissant Loverture, Julius Caesar, Geronimo, Martin Luther King, Jr., and one of the Brontë sisters.
In "Saved by the Knoll", Wu was seen in the background during Curly's Funeral, mourning the loss of The Grassy Knoll.
In "Sexy-Ed", Confucius passed out fliers for his and Harriet's Harrucius Major Rager and gave one to Wu. She seemed interested in going. Although she wasn't seen in any of the shots at the party, it can be implied that she was there.
In "Clone Alone", she was pumping her fist in celebration, after hearing Candide Sampson sing the song, "Clone High College", apparently being very excited to go to college, herself. In the Death Maze, Joan went rabid and shoved Wu into a pit, eliminating her from the competition. Wu made an audible scream after getting shoved into the pit, though it's unknown who voiced her.
Appearance[]
Wu Zetian is a 16-year-old Asian girl with fair skin and noirette hair that she dyed a Neptune shade of blue. She wears her hair in a bun and wears coral-red eyeliner and dark red lipstick. She has thin black eyebrows, bags under her eyes, and a rounded bulbous nose. Her body is drastically curved forward seemingly in a traditional Chinese-bowing posture. She wears yellow bell-bottom overalls with navy blue sleeve trims that allude to her clonemother's dress, and a baby blue striped undershirt.
Her shoes seem to be inconsistent in the show. In "Let's Try This Again", she switched shoes with George Washington Carver and he was shown, struggling to put on tiny pink ballerina shoes, suggesting that those are what her shoes look like under her bell bottoms. However, in "Clone Alone", a shot of Wu falling into a hole showed that the bottoms of her bell-bottoms were her shoes, as she appeared to be wearing big blue shoes that merged with her pants.
